Warm, comforting, easy and we all wanted to buy a lodge just like it!

Pros: Fabulous lodge, spotless, modern, well laid out and presented, lovely finish, plenty of space. 2 bathrooms which makes things so much easier as we had our 2 teens with us. lovely location, both the immediate setting with the other lodges and it’s proximity to the pretty village of Kippford. A fabulous stay and we were really sad to leave. Our stay went far too quickly.

Cons: Mattresses could have been a little more comfy and pillow protectors should’ve been used, also the headboards on the single beds were wobbly and we had to pull the beds away from the wall to stop them banging every time the kids rolled over but I’m really nit picking here.

Overall it was a lovely stay in a peaceful site and Kippford was pretty.

Pros: The lounge was lovely and spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with crockery etc and the children’s cutlery/plates were a bonus. The main en-suite bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Having a dishwasher and washing machine was good as we had young children in our party.

Cons: We found the sink tucked away in the tiny room with a heavy door difficult to access especially when people coming through from the bedrooms.
