Family Home Near City Centre - New KING bed!

Would definitely visit again

Pros: Had everything we needed for our stay and was very close to Carlisle racecourse. Property was well maintained

Pros: The location is fab, nestled away on a quiet side street just off the urban village of Denton Holme 10-15 mins from Town Centre, with on street parking next to property, spacious house for a family or friends visiting the city. Has all you need for a self catering stay, the house was toasty warm in December, super comfy beds, cleaned to high standard and great communication from the hosts, plus fresh milk and tea and coffee, and if you have pets, things for them too. We have visited twice now and would most definitely stay again and recommend to anyone considering booking this property.

Cons: Not really one to complain but if any, hot water in bathroom was a little temperamental both for bath and shower. We struggled a wee bit but other than that cannot fault it at all. Hosts were fantastic and responded quickly to any questions I had.

Pros: Good location close to Carlisle centre. Good value for a family of 4 to stay Good facilities e.g. Netflix, Sky, etc.

Cons: Radiator in living room was a bit erratic

Pros: Good location, the house was clean and tidy, the beds comfortable, there was plenty of space for our purposes, the welcome message was a nice touch and the host was friendly and accommodating.

Cons: Personally I found it a little too warm overnight but all the other members of our party found it okay.

Pros: Comfortable bed.equiped to a good standard for self catering.very warm ( almost too warm )downstairs during a cold spell.

Cons: Bathroom heating just ok.no inforrmation on recycling policy so threw most waste away. In our area we have 4 different categories.no kitchen window blind. On waving terms with close neighbour each morning whilst preparing breakfast as he had his early morning coffe and cigarette outside

Pros: Everywhere was clean and there was ample kitchen equipment although we didn't really use it. There were also plenty of streaming sites available on the tv.

Cons: The property could with the decorating updating other than that it was spot on.

Pros: Our host was fantastic offering parking assistance prior to our arrival and little touches to welcome us to the property. All very much appreciated & we wouldn't hesitate to either recommend or return.

Home from home

Pros: Excellent location, walked into town a few times, bout 20mins leaving the car outside the house. Home from home, I was born in Denton Holme, Collingwood Street in 1948 and was able to visit the house, thank you to the kind landlady who let us in. Made our visit extra special. Would definitely recommend!

Pros: Excellent value for money and the early check in was much appreciated.
