Great host, great location, lovely area not far from Dalston and a short drive from Carlisle.

Pros: Lovely, well thought out property. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Host was lovely and friendly. Great little welcome pack :)

Cons: We picked this accommodation based on its rural location as we wanted a nice relaxing break and some peace and quiet , the dogs next door did nothing but bark, sometimes up to 40 minutes solid. Nothing the owner can do about this as they are not her dogs and i maybe shouldn't leave it as a negative comment based on that but we did find it really annoying and therefor didn't quite get the relaxing atmosphere we had hoped for which is a shame because everything else was great.

Pros: Cosey, wholesome, everything you need… hostess is brilliant, couldn’t do enough for us… private little garden area… you can tell the hostess really cares
