Nice family and pet friendly property far enough away from busy places but still close enough

Pros: Good place to stay with walks from the property. No extra charge for pets and some great views. Close to whinlatter forest and brathewaite lake for walks, swimming, paddling boarding, etc. Great welcome box with assorted hot and cold drinks along with biscuits.

Cons: Would have been good to have washing up liquid in the property, not a major issue but meant we had to go buy one. Cleaner was still in the property when we got there, a little earlier than we'd said, but she did say after our arrival time that we could get in while she finished off the last bedroom.

Quiet location near Keswick

Pros: Well equipped with pans, sharp knives, casserole dishes, teapot etc. Spacious lounge, comfortable, stylish and homely. Almost too warm for us, we turned thermostat down every day! Brilliant location for walking, nice walks out of the door.

Cons: Nothing not to like. No personal garden, but lovely outlooks from both bedroom windows and we were out of doors a lot of the time walking.
