Absolutely the best cottage!

Pros: You could tell the hosts had thought of everything. We lacked for nothing in terms of accommodation, amenities, location, and scenery. We loved everything. On top of all that, it was tastefully decorated for Christmas. It was absolutely perfect.

Cons: Only thing to improve would be the front steps leading to the house. It didn't detract from the joy and delight in our stay but they're not very well lit and a bit uneven.

Pros: Property was beautiful with plenty of room and really clean

Cons: Parking space is really small so if you've got a large car its quite tight and also the sofas could do with replacing as there quite flat and lumpy

Homely property with beautiful views.

Pros: Lovely location, stunning scenery, beautiful views. Tucked away, a spacious property with well equipped accommodation and an ideal spot for walking. Great pubs nearby.

Cons: This is not a property for guests with mobility issues. The bathroom on the first floor, is a full flight of stairs from the master bedroom on the top floor. There are steps up to the property with no handrail provided and accessibility is not easy. Lack of detail re cleaning- we found a biscuit under the bed… lack of attention to detail- kitchen roll hadn’t been replenished, no surface cleaner or cloths to clean work surfaces in the kitchen, rusty garden furniture, lots of weeds growing through slate chippings.. Also an issue with the ‘enclosed’ nature of the garden. The boundaries were low, which meant we had to keep our dog on a lead if we wanted to let her outside. A lovely property for guests wanting to do lots of walking, who are able bodied, want lots of space and don’t have dodgy knees! But sadly, we wouldn’t rebook.

Pros: A cosy cottage with a lovely fireplace. Nice bedrooms with comfy beds and clean, fresh bedsheets.Kitchen has all tools, all working. Very quiet relaxing location, beautiful views.
