Brilliant.

Pros: Lovely cottage in central Bassenthwaite. A short walk from the local pub and amazing scenery out of each window. Comfy beds, nice shower, clean and tidy. Keys were in the box as expected, checked in with no issues.

Cons: Our fault, but there wasn't any complimentary tea or coffee. Our fault again, but no toiletries in the cottage. A boot cleaner by either door would have been great. Sadly my car was too wide to get in the driveway so had to park on street.

A lovely short stay in the snow

Pros: Great location, nice pub close by. Lovely and warm and a good supply of logs, nice and clean, could do with some new wine glasses, otherwise perfect

We will be staying again, “Thank You” for a lovely family holiday in the Lakes!

Pros: Lovely homely cottage in a beautiful area. Perfect for a family of 4 with good access to all of the Lake District. All of us including both our children (12) &(10) loved the cottage. It had everything you need amazing shower, brilliant kitchen that has everything and the fire place is fantastic for nice warm family nights inside after a long day walking. We ordered a Tesco delivery for the day we arrived which was a massive bonus. We will certainly be staying again next year!!

Pros: Beautiful cottage, had everything we needed. Lovely shower.

Cons: Bed in double room was a little uncomfortable. Freezer needed defrosting.
