We loved it and would definitely return, scenery was stunning lovely village

Pros: Really nice quirky layout but perfect for the 6 people to stay, Great location for our Hiking challenge and close to the Pub.

Cons: Parking was restricted, only one space but had 3 cars but was able to find spaces nearby to park but it was a quite time to visit. Pub gets very busy so worth while getting there early

A lovely comfortable cottage in a wonderful village.

Pros: Wonderful location and lovely cottage. Close to the co-op and cafe as well as two pubs in walking distance.

Cons: Some steep stairs but that’s to be expected

A stunning part of the Lakes

Pros: It is a beautiful location which was a moments walk from the Wainwright where my family have a holiday home. It was clean, very homely and accommodated my whole family. The views were beautiful and we felt very safe

Cons: The lack of parking because we had two cars but we struggled to park both of them.

Great place for a small group to explore the Lake District from.

Pros: Great location, very cosy property, log fire is nice, great to have own parking space, walking distance to village shop. Rooms were cosy and were very warm with the heating turned up. Kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. Entrance area is great for changing out of dirty clothes and shoes without messing up the rest of the house. Great base from which to explore this part of the Lake District.

Perfect place!

Pros: Great house in great location. Good facilities and well equiped.

Cons: Non flexiblity in arriving a bit earlier. 16.00 is late when you arrive in the morning in Newcastle, travelling from the netherlands.

Pros: Such a quaint cottage in absolutely stunning surroundings

Pros: Snug, cosy living room with log burner. Well equipped kitchen, excellent shower and comfy beds. Fantastic location with amazing walks right on the front door. Good value.

Cons: Fire alarm upstairs needs new battery.

Perfectly located quiet cottage with great facilities

Pros: It was perfectly located within walking distance of the mountains and had great access to pub and shop. It was so quiet and the scenery was beautiful. It was very well equipped, with enough seating in the dining and living room and had plenty of bathrooms. Exceeded expectations!

Cons: The lack of air conditioning and fans was a bit unfortunate for the top rooms as we stayed during a very hot spell, but we managed anyway.

Lads yearly walk in the lakes
