Clean comfortable - great hostess
Pros: I loved the enclosed garden - it was great for exercising my dog. It is a lovely comfortable room - spotlessly clean & with lots of lovely touches and the breakfast the next morning was huge and beautifully cooked Maureen was a great hostess - friendly and chatty
Cons: Nothing - everything was great

Self-contained pet friendly cottage with amazing breakfast+ fenced garden
Pros: Everything + an epic breakfast (yum!). Such a lovely and welcoming place! Home away from home. Maureen was very welcoming and even gave us wee treats for our beast, seemed to love our big German Shepherd! The large fenced garden was ideal too. It was spotlessly clean with many thoughtful additions like bread for the toaster & jams, butter & juice in the fridge, porridge tubes, wee chocolates on the bedside tables, wee shower gels, etc. (There's also a microwave). Just super cozy! Parking onsite, in front of the guests cottage. Ideal place to spend some quality time! We hiked the Grey Mare's Tail (stunning views!) and the next day did Sunday shopping at the large Caledonia outlet just 30min down south. Plenty to do! Super hospitality - thank you! (and really sorry for a broken wine glass!)

A happy time!
Pros: We liked the location because it was easy to walk into Moffat and leave our car at the property. Nice and cosy, a happy feel to the place. Maureen made an excellent breakfast and was very welcoming.

Perfect way to start my vacation in Scotland with my dog
Pros: Perfect place to stay with my dog after traveling for an entire day. The cottage is cozy, the garden is beautiful and so big my dog could play for hours in it. I could park my car just in front of the cottage, wich made my stay stressfree. 5 minute walk from three different restaurants, all of wich where pet friendly. The owner was lovely and helpful. She even gave me a bag of treats for my dog !

Safe, quiet, warm and exactly what we needed with our dog as part of the family.
Pros: Self catering accommodation but with a fridge which had Milk, butter and luxury yoghurts, there were breakfast cereals etc, etc. Microwave and toaster - plus of course, if you asked in advance, you could have a cooked breakfast ! A good size room where you were not on top of each other, our little dog settled within moments and didn't murmur a sound through the night. A night that was peaceful, quiet and felt very safe. Superb size garden for the dog to do the necessary ( pick it up yourself, this is a lovely spot ) It really was bliming lovely. A leisurely 10 minute stroll and we were in the village ( pubs for food and drinks and takeaways). We grabbed some Fish and Chips, wandered back and ate at the breakfast bar in the room. A great find that we would have booked on the way back down had we known how good it was.
Cons: A winning lottery ticket left on the pillows ?
