Great overnight accommodation

Pros: Comfortable, clean, warm and quiet. Excellent overnight stay travelling from Surrey to the Highlands. Very convenient being close to M74, but no road noise (or any noise) to disturb sleep.

Pros: I called ahead to say I’d be arriving late which was no trouble at all and Amanda gave me a warm welcome, which is what I needed after a 7 hour drive! Room was warm and cosy. Perfect and will use again

Cosy little stopover.

Pros: Cosy little stop over, warm, comfortable and convenient. Would stay again.

Cons: The step down to the Bathroom, I did stumble down it once during the night but, not sure anything could be done.

Exactly what was needed after a long drive. Very clean, warm and peaceful.

Pros: The location was great, peaceful, quiet and surrounded by nature. I was warmly greeted by the owner and taken to the room. Everything was explained clearly, and told not to hesitate to call if I needed help with anything more.

Cons: Everything was good; my only complaint was that the shower wasn't as hot as I would have liked it to be. Not a big drama, and not enough to give a bad review.

Fantastic!

Pros: It's a beautiful place and not too far from Lockerbie which was handy to get the express train into Edinburgh. We particularly liked tbe excellent games facilities like the dining table which converts into a pool table. The owner Amanda was lovely and helpful too.

Cons: Nothing. Maybe just beware that you need to go down a long winding lane to get to it.
