Highly recommended

Pros: A great B&B with the perfect host in Julie. Immaculate rooms and excellent breakfast.

Cons: Julie was the perfect host and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was immaculate, with everything we could need and the bed was something comfortable I didn't want to get up! Little touches like home made shortbread were much appreciated. Breakfast was excellent, with delicious home baked cheese and bacon scones, and there was also homemade lemon curd and jam! We will definitely be back next time we go to Carlisle. 10/10

Exceeded expectations

Pros: A beautiful house in and excellent location. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and spacious. A very homely atmosphere. The underfloor heating in the bathroom is lovely on a cold winter evening. We only stayed 1 night as breaking up our journey but will definitely visit Carlisle again and this will be our first choice for accommodation.

Cons: There is nothing not to like.

Pros: Friendly staff.Had fridge in room with fresh milk.Had home grown biscuits.Lovely breakfast with various fruits,cereals and cooked. Would certainly like to go back in the summer but would obviously be busy.

Cons: It's an old building so the windows are old so a bit noisy from the street. Bathroom on the small side but still had a lovely shower.

A lovely little B n B to explore Carlisle from

Pros: The owners personally greeted us, which was a nice touch. They offered us breakfast also (though we didn't have time to have this!). We didn't stay long in the room as was only overnight stay for partner's graduation the next day but lovely room, spacious, cosy homey feel. Would definitely stay if we need to stay in Carlisle again! Place is walking distance to town, quiet overall as not many rooms in entire place as a whole.

Cons: Nothing.

Definitely putting this on the repeat list when next in Carlisle for work

Pros: Warm greeting, good bedroom and breakfast was excellent.

Pros: Very friendly people, very welcoming. Very Clean Tv has netflix on demand apps etc Decent shower gel Nice and quiet area Breakfast was a real treat. I felt guilty I couldn't eat a lot of it.

Pros: The room was large, it was also clean and tidy. It would be ideal for hikers. Evening amenities and in the centre of the lakes. Good quality, owners on site

Superb B&B in Carlisle

Pros: Fantastic welcome when we arrived and such a lovely room, with comfy bed and everything else we could need. The breakfast was superb, and Julie was so friendly. We will book again when returning to Carlisle as it’s so well located with 24hr parking nearby (£10 for 24 hrs).

Cons: We can’t think of anything.

Turned a necessary stop-off into a pleasure.
