Pros: Loved being next to the castle, and the grounds were gorgeous! We had some lovely walks around it. It was so clean, so spacious and we loved that we could have our dog with us. We had great communication from the workers on general. Local cafes, Thomas Tosh and Jaggy Bean were nice addition in the local area.

Cons: Although it is on the website when communicating with castle team I felt like it wasn't made clear on the opening times of the castle and the cafe, despite asking questions about this prior to my visit. However, upon reflection this was something I could have found on the website but that all being shut was the only negative I could find about the apartment. There isn't many places to eat around with dogs but the ones we did find were good.

A super-cosy place, set in a stunning location.

Pros: What a gem! The studio forms part of Drumlanrig Castle, set in 90,000 acres with plenty of walks. The studio is lovely, a large well-equipped kitchen with plenty of cooking utensils etc. Very comfy bed, stunning views and a haven to come back to after a day's walking. Nice and warm too. Parking easy too.

Cons: Nothing! It was brilliant.

Fantastic. Clean. Loved it.
