Well appointed apartment

Pros: Location excellent the owner of this property has gone to great lengths to ensure everything you require for your stay is provided.

Cons: Stairs within apartment fairly steep

Pros: We don't really know where to start to convey how wonderful this apartment is. The host has thought of absolutely everything you could possibly want and more. The thoughtfulness, kindness and effort shown in everything available is beyond belief. Spotlessly clean, in a fantastic, scenic location. We honestly didn't want for a single thing. The valentines chocolates were such a lovely touch too. Our Dog was catered for too! Would 100% recommend in a heartbeat. Thank you for our wonderful stay 🥰🥰

Outstanding apartment

Pros: Everything had been thought of, down to the smallest detail. It was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. We loved the bowl full of sweets on the coffee table. Communication with the host was outstanding. We would highly recommend this place.

Cons: The entrance is a bit off-putting, but belies what is inside.

A great base to explore Kirkcudbright and the region.

Pros: The welcome fruit basket was very thoughtful. We appreciate the easy contact with the host. The flat was well-appointed. Parking was possible right in front of the house. Good amenities outside. A good base to explore the region.

Cosy apartment

Pros: Town location. cosy apartment really lived up to its name it was clean and had everything you could want in an apartment, a really comfy bed that just hugged you views of the bridge

Cons: I really could not find any faults at this apartment

Wonderful weekend in Kircudbright- just what it said on the tin: \

Pros: The flat was central in the town, very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Every detail seemed to have been thought about. There was space to keep my bike safe overnight. Local shopping for eating was very convenient and suitable. It was good to be able to open the windows safely to keep cool. The electricity meter was well in credit and didn't seem to use much more than about a pound (GBP) a night for our stay. The view of the main street/crossroads and the main river bridge was entertaining. Local parking was ample and free.

Cons: The fabric conditioner used for the bedding laundry seemed very noticeable to our sense of smell and could affect more sensitive customers. I slept with one of my shirts over the pillow, which helped.

Pros: The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The extras like a dog bed, lead, towels and bowls were most pleasing to see, as were things like the tea, coffee and sweeties. There are board games and books provided in case of rubbish weather or boredom. The sofa bed was really comfortable and the shower was powerful and invigorating. In all, it was a wonderful stay away. We had a lovely meal at The Kirkcudbright Bay and we watched the Ride of the Marches too which was very enjoyable.

Cons: We can seriously only complain about the noise of the early hours as we heard some shouting and arguing the first night and the second night there was a group of teens drinking in the street below. Other than this, no issues whatsoever.

Comfortable, cosy & thoughtfully kitted out.

Pros: The spectacle shelves beside the bed! Brilliant! The fans - 2nd floor attic flat with unheard of hot weather ( for Scotland) was a lifesaver. Well appointed and comfortable. The new sash windows which were easy to open!

Cons: Didn't affect us but an extractor fan in the shower might be useful for the owners. Not really an issue but we thought it came with its own parking; tricky in the day to park nearby but not a problem in the evening and it was free on street

We loved the apartment and location. It was perfect for our needs (adult family of 3)

Pros: The apartment is immaculate and beautifully presented with just about everything you will need for a stay in Kirkcudbright.
