Pros: The farm house is well decorated, comfy, and was kept warm throughout our stay. We appreciated the option of adjustable temperature in the property. Beds were comfy and with clean bedding. Kitchen was well equipped and mostly clean on arrival. Hot tub was excellent - clean, warm, and easy to work. Provided bathrobes and slippers were much appreciated. Staff is friendly and very welcoming.

Cons: We were a bit disappointed to find a lots of spider webs all around the house (especially bedrooms) and I found dead spider in my bed. The carpet was not hoovered (lots of fluff and mess) and we washed all dishes/cups before use as some had signs of previous use (i.e. food) on them. Despite all of above, we would stay again in a heartbeat as it is a gret property in a lovely area.

The most amazing and fantastic stay for myself and my family

Pros: This was by far the best places I have ever stayed the hosts were amazing it was right by the beach and not far from scarfell pike which is an amazing climb it’s on a live farm so listening to the cows and seeing the other animals was very fun.it has a closed off garden so amazing for kids and dogs and just overall amazing cottage to spend some time away

Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was that I couldn’t stay longer

A wonderful stay

Pros: Check in with the owners' daughter, who was very friendly and helpful... A really smooth, quick process. The property itself felt like coming home. Everything you could ever need was there and it was so spacious, more so than the pictures show. Hot tub absolutely lovely. Massive beds. We will definitely return and would recommend The Old Farmhouse very strongly!
