Gorgeous Eskdale

Pros: Excellent location, friendly staff. Beautiful views. Kitchen well appointed.

Great place, great food, great views

Pros: The apartment was lovely with everything you could need for a few nights stay. Set right next to the Inn you did not get disturbed by patrons or excessive noise. The staff were really friendly. The food in the Inn had generous portions and was really tasty, the view from the windows was amazing, what more can you ask?

Cons: There was nothing I didn't like

Lovely place, but food not great.

Pros: Great location & staff. Very clean. Lovely accommodation. Reasonable value.

Cons: The pub food was very basic. Overcooked vegetables, cheap tasting curry sauces. I wouldn’t eat there again.

Pros: Beautiful location and fantastic hosts, we had a wonderful stay and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The food was beautiful and there was a great selection of beers. Thank you team King George 💜

Pros: Great Location, friendly staff, fluffy towels, Good thick curtains so stayed dark during light mornings. Manager happy to lend hairdryer when we couldn't find the one supplied.

Cons: Blea Tarn: Heating not on; no towel rails, hooks or surfaces in bathroom. Loud hen/stag party directly downstairs till 11 on one night and not told about it during cancellation period. Bed was tilted sideways so one person rolled into middle.

Pros: Well equipped and clean apartment. Recently renovated. Great location in beautiful Eskdale Valley. Pub staff are friendly and pub good value food if you don't want to cook. Selection of local beers, pool table, games, and big TV in pub. Fabulous location for visiting waterfalls, Hardknott Roman Fort, Ravenglass and Eskdale railway, or a long but scenic walk up to Scafell Pike.
