Pros: It was our 1st visit here. It was peaceful and beautiful surrounding areas. The donkeys and goats on site are beautiful. We slept comfortably and sat in the lounge dining area comfortable too. The owners are very friendly and supportive. We would really like to return.

We love visiting Green view lodges. Emily and Gary are the best hosts.

Enjoyable weekend, great location and stay

Pros: Hosts were great. After a hike and unwanted ticks discovered they came to the rescue with some tweezers to remove as we had left ours. Location is great for Northern Fells and the private hot tub was very welcome post hikes.

Cons: Not an issue for us, but might want to bring food if self catering as closest shop is a short drive away

Fabulous little cottage, very dog friendly, lovely hosts

Pros: Lovely place secure garden for the dog, and the dog run secure field was an added bonus.

Picturesque and quiet

Pros: The location was lovely and quiet. It Overlooked a Donkey paddock which was an added bonus. Very clean, with lots of spare bedding and blankets. Emily was so thoughtful, upgrading us as our lodge wasn’t ready when we arrived and putting home baked yummy cake in the kitchen, which was stocked with milk, sugar and tea.
