Beautiful place with beautiful surroundings.
Pros: Staff were brilliant throughout! Caravan was lovely, absolutely loved the doggy gift box, and little cloths with washing up liquid- it's the little things that make a big difference. Lovely place to stay with fab surroundings.
Cons: The only thing was the noise from the trains, but obviously nothing can be done about this, and after a while you stop hearing it.

Would highly recommend
Pros: The site was really lovely. We used it as a base, so didn't get to explore the local area much. The caravan & site was clean and the location was stunning. The local town of Moffat looked really pretty, there is a lovely chippy and other shops. As I said we used this site as a base, we visited Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hadrian's Wall and Dumfries which are not that far by car. Would definitely recommend.
Cons: As a family of five, I was disappointed that there were no extra sheets for the extra bedding that we needed to use for the bed in the living room. This is a very small issue and probably would have been resolved if we had made time to ask for the sheets but after a long day travelling, we just wanted to rest. Luckily my child was fine to sleep on the couch with the quilt without the cover.

Enjoyable, dog friendly, interesting, relaxing location.
Pros: Self catering. Cooking facility was good (oven, grill, toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer) On site cafe was nice. Friendly guest reception area. Nice coffee. Bar area good...great female singer on Saturday night. Lovely walk around lake, with wildlife to appreciate. Good space for fog walking. Lovely little town nearby with good shops and places to eat/drink, walk.
Cons: Some fittings were in need of repair eg broken net curtain at French window, one cupboard door had loose hinge and hung badly, one strip around door to caravan/lodge kept falling off when entering or exiting the property.

Wish we could have stayed longer.
Pros: We had a spacious caravan with lovely decor. There were beautiful grounds teeming with nature and the friendly town of Moffat only 5 mins away. Gorgeous scenery nearby.

Pros: Beautiful walks in the woodland on site. Short drive to moffat.
Cons: The lakeside bar stopped serving food as the cooker was broken & they didn't fix it. Kids couldn't use arcade as change machine wasn't working, so couldn't get change to play. It felt as it was close to season ending they didn't care.

Great little place. Very reasonable
Pros: We live this site, great walks for the dog round the loch. We come just to chill and take it easy itβs good for that.
Cons: The noise from trains which canβt be helped. Some lamps and coat hooks would be good and a larger fridge for a longer stay.

Pros: Beautiful park, very quiet , caravan was very clean and comfortable ,staff very friendly and informative of places to go visit π
Cons: Park is situated next to the west coast main line, so trains do ratting past, but after a while, you get used to it, and it just becomes background noise
