The place of dreams

Pros: Everything was perfect, we stayed there prior to and after we were married at auchen castle... Its incredible and the best place I've stayed in. We love drumlanrig castle and Scotland so its embedded in the lifetime memories of our wedding. The inspirational architecture, attention to detail, the undulating manicured gardens and history embedded landscape are a living novel. Thankyou. Mr & Mrs.Casson

Beautiful property and comfortable stay

Pros: Beautiful location and the property has been done to an incredibly high standard, Everything was pristine and well equipped. The Estate Team were on hand for assistance when needed and were very helpful and friendly.

Very relaxing would definitely return but for longer next time

Pros: The peace and tranquility East Wing is a new addition and beautifully restored

Cons: We where only there 2 nights so struggled to get our head round the heating far to hot in the bedrooms we would Have turned down the thermostats if we'd been there another day otherwise a perfect stay

Cons: On our arrival I noticed the toaster was unplugged on plugging it in and trying it we realised it tripped the sockets off ,so we had to use the grill,oh what a hardship “
