Pros: The location was very quiet, yet close to Keswick and nearby trails. The place was bigger than we expected and was very comfortable :)

Comfortable, quiet apartment with easy access to fells, pub Keswick and Grasmere.

Pros: Great location, set back from the road, at Dale Head Hall. So it’s quiet but only 10 min walk to pub and bus stop, easy to walk into central and eastern fells from the door. Great views from the first floor apartment across the lakeside grounds and Thirlmere. Spacious, comfortable and functional apartment, new bathroom with good shower. Boot room available for drying wet gear. Good value.

Cons: Creaky floors, fair enough it’s an old building. Porch at top of outside stairs is useful when coming out in wet weather but it needs replacing as wood is rotten. Outside stairs for access to first floor are a bit steep, so may not suit infirm.

Pros: The gardens and the views of the hotel. Very comfortable and well furnished.

Cons: Outside porch could be repaired better maintained but didn’t worry us.

Pros: Very friendly and welcoming staff, the apartment was comfortable and spacious, providing all the amenities we needed. The beautifully maintained grounds added to the charm, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a lovely place to relax and unwind, and I would highly recommend it.

Fabulous stay in Thirlmere .

Pros: Everything was just perfect for us. We loved the location and the cosy atmosphere of the place. Plenty of space and super clean . Home from home with everything you could possibly need. We will certainly want to return!! The location is of outstanding beauty and so tranquil.Very sad to leave !!
