Excellent Weekend
Pros: The cottage is warm and friendly, so welcoming and absolutely spotless. The living area and bedrooms are great size. Beautiful views. Close to beauty spots you must visit. Has everything you would need when away from home. Bev and Richard who are the hosts, live next door. Bev welcomed us on our arrival and again when leaving. On hand to help with any questions. Fantastic Hosts.

Cosy cottage in a windswept rural retreat
Pros: Bev was lovely! Really helpful. Responsive if we needed anything, and gave us some good tips on places to visit. House was so cosy warm, and easy to control temp with Google nest thermostat. And for extra cosiness, it was wonderful having the wood burning stove prepared and ready to light when we arrived. Whole cottage was immaculately clean. Beds incredibly comfy and loads of wardrobe and drawer space. Kitchen well stocked with kitchen utensils etc for home cooking. Twin room included lovely collection of kids toys, games and books Bev also checked what type of milk and bread we wanted in advance so it was already there, plus a jar of homemade marmalade 😋
Cons: Initially I couldn't find the WiFi password, but a quick text to Bev and she responded instantly.

Exceptional in every way.
Pros: Really homely and comfortable with everything provided you could need including a generous welcome pack. Great location for seeing the beautiful west side of Dumfries Galloway. Very friendly and helpful hosts who gave us lots of information and really went the extra mile with amazing communication - including information about road closures on our journey there. Bev even gave us some freshly caught (by Richard) and filleted sea bass which was delicious. We were blessed with fantastic weather which enabled us to also spend time in the beautiful garden which included a summer house with comfy chars and a lovely view. Highly recommend.

Lovely spacious cottage, stunning scenery, perfect host.
Pros: The location is amazing, from the lane and the back garden there's lovely views over Luce Bay. The cottage is beautiful and very spacious, the sun room has a large dining room and 2 sofa's, the patio doors lead onto the decking with outdoor furniture. So many lovely walks including being able to walk to Drummore with beach, harbour, shop, café and pub. The scenery is stunning, everyone we met was friendly. Bev is a brilliant host, checked what we would like in our welcome pack (which was very generous) and gave us some useful local information. Lots of lovely beaches within walking distance on the coastal path or a short drive away.
Cons: Nothing! We are planning to go back next year.

Amazing-stunning-very very clean.
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Bev is a great host and very friendly and approachable. Stunning surroundings. Ample of supplies in the cottage, well equipt kitchen. Super comfortable bed, lots of space in the cottage and the garden. Defiantly found our continuous re visits with this property and village. Early check in was made possible and late check out was offered due to being vacant after our departure. Can't say enough about the place. Garden is very secure for large dogs which is what we struggle with when looking.
Cons: Nothing negative

The best short break we have ever had. Fantastic views and friendly locals.
Pros: The cottage was excellent, in a lovely spot, handy for the local attractions. Bev gave us advice about where to go and was very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have found a better place to stay.
Cons: Wouldn’t change anything.
