Fantastic if you want a truly peaceful vacation with the comforts of home, highly recommend

Pros: It had everything we needed, it was peaceful and serene and a pleasure to wake up in the beautiful surroundings. Definitely felt like a home from home.

Cons: It was difficult to regulate both of the showers to the correct temperature. They were either too cold or burning hot.

Lovely cottage. Lovely area.

Pros: We had a wonderful week and look forward to going again. The house is dated, but it is well equipped with many of the modern appliances needed including a tumble dryer. The beds were clean and comfy. The heating system is old but the house was never cold during our stay - there are extra heaters in each room if needed. The area is quiet and there are lovely walks locally with spectacular views. There is plenty to do and see. There is an ASDA 15 mins drive away and delivery is available. Girvan highstreet has plenty of useful shops, the locals are friendly and helpful. We would recommend.

Cons: The driveway has quite a few pot holes but with careful and slow driving, they can be avoided. We were informed that they were going to be repaired soon.

Loved it so much we’ve already booked for next year!

Pros: The location was stunning, it was exactly what we wanted to allow us to have a much needed break. Mr Stewart is the nicest man! Nothing was too much trouble for him, he let us wander around the farm whenever we wanted to, spent time showing our daughter the animals and farmland and made time for conversation with us when we saw him. Girvan is just 15 mins drive with a beautiful clean beach that our dogs loved playing on, 15 mins the other direction is woodland bay, another lovely quiet beach. Fair Knowe woods is stunning but download an offline map before going as there is absolutely no signal there at all.

Cons: The downstairs double bed wasn’t the comfiest but the didn’t detract from our experience!
