Great location for exploring area around Ullswater with a fabulous garden

Pros: Garden was fabulous, host was very friendly and knowledgeable, the kitchen was well equipped, lovely sitting in the sun room overlooking the garden, cottage well located between Penrith and Keswick, within easy reach of lots of fabulous walks.

Cons: A comfy sofa or seating is needed in the Sunroom, as the lounge is very dark we spent all our time at the cottage sat at the dining table in the Sunroom.
