Edencroft

Pros: Very spacious throughout with high-quality furnishings & bedding. The dining room looked out to the garden. One bedroom also opened out to the lovely garden. The games/table tennis room was good for rainy days/evening recreation. Very quiet & peaceful location.

Cons: The separate shower room had an instant heater. Though it had 3 temperature controls, it was difficult to get the right pressure & desired temperature. Water did not drain out well. The cabinet over the sink was cumbersome.The bedsheet in the double bed ensuite room was fitted inside out!!

Lovely relaxing and peaceful stay in a beautiful bungalow close to local village

Pros: Very clean. Good facilities, well stocked kitchen. Great location will beautiful private garden.

Cons: Neither of the patio doors in the living room or dining room opened. This was such a shame and was very disappointing as the weekend was very hot it would have been lovely to eat and relax with the doors open. Some of the foliage in the garden could do with trimming back to clear the steps and pathway.

Beautiful property, very spacious.

Pros: The property was larger than we expected, it was lovely inside. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The garden out the back was very pretty and nice to sit outside in the sun. The location was ideal for our weekend of walking.

A fabulous property

Pros: An amazingly well equipped and comfortable property. The beds were comfortable, and the property was spotless. It was in a very quiet location with a lovely garden area.

Cons: On arrival, we had a problem getting a TV signal Phoned the help number, and it was sorted while we were out the next day. There are very few places close to the property to eat out. Local Pub less than a mile away was the only one we could find. It would be helpful if there was a list of local eateries in the property. If would be helpful if there was a list of local eateries and directions in the property.

Pros: We had a lovely stay at Edencroft. The position is great, close to Penrith and not far from Keswick, situated in a quiet village. The property is beautifully furnished and very well provisioned. The owners really have thought of everything, and the welcome basket was a thoughtful touch. Beautifully clean throughout. We will definitely be back.

Pros: A clean and comfortable property. Very well decorated and provisioned. Bright and airy, and lovely and warm even in cold conditions. We could not have asked for anything more, and the basket of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits was a nice touch. We will definitely be back.

Cons: We arrived in the snow, and would not have been able to get to the property on the small, ungritted roads leading to Greystoke Gill without a 4 wheel drive car. The drive up to the property is also steep and was difficult to navigate in icy conditions. A snow shovel would have been useful. We went out and bought one, but it would be useful to have one at the property for use in the winter months. The instructions for waste disposal were out of date. The wheelie bin was overflowing when we arrived, with extra bags piled next to it. Waste was collected after we moved the bin next to the road. The waste collection instructions need correcting to reflect the change in waste company from Urbaser to FCC. Having been told that waste would not be collected unless it was in Urbaser bags, we spent a fruitless time trying to track down these bags.

Pros: We had an amazing stay at this property! The house was absolutely perfect and exceeded our expectations. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property and kitchen were fully equipped, and the high-quality furniture made everything feel luxurious. , and we appreciated the attention to detail throughout the home. The three bedrooms were spacious and cosy, The beds were comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We also enjoyed the tennis table room, it added a lot of fun to our stay! The beautiful garden, covered in snow during our visit, was a magical sight and made our stay even more special. The WiFi was fast and reliable, Overall, this is a fantastic property, and we will definitely return. Many thanks.

Pros: Very nice, well proportioned house in a lovely setting.

Pros: High quality furniture and soft furnishings, bed is a hynos bed so was very comfy, spacious, felt like staying in a nice hotel, kitchen is really well equipped for cooking meals, living room very cosy

Cons: Despite the kitchen being really well equipped a couple of things were missing like a garlic press and citrus juicer

Pros: Everything. Sheets and towels were very clean. One of the best accommodations we have been in. Garden was so lovely and everything we need was there. We will definitely be coming back.
