Lovely accommodation, warm and cosy

Pros: Great location, well equipped and very clean. Would recommend.

Cons: Only negative was the steep stairs and the small landing at the top but do understand this is part of a quaint old house.

Pros: Lovely cottage in a great location for town centre and river walks very clean and cozy

Cons: Steep stairs but wouldn’t stop me returning

Lovely little place, clean, warm and cosy

Pros: Lovely little house easy to find and warm and cosy with plenty of space for our family of four. Just what we needed for our one night stop over.

Cons: The only thing that concerned me was the top of the stairs. I was worried one of the kids was going to fall if they got up in the night as it has the tiniest walkway and would be so easy to lose your footing and go down the very steep stairs. Maybe not suitable for a family with young children unless some kind of stair gate could be provided.

Pros: Perfect location and everything you needed in the cottage for the stay

Pros: Excellent location. Very cosy cottage with everything you need.

Cons: Stairs were a bit tricky.

Great place to stay and see Moffat

Pros: Great location. Everything you could need was in the cottage. Shower was excellent. Really useful pre arrival email from the host.

Cons: Bedrooms are in the roof space with a small area between the bedroom, top of stairs and bathroom which is a bit precarious during the night.

Lovely wee bolthole in a great location

Pros: Perfectly located in Moffat, just off the High St but close to all the local amenities you could need. Would be a great base for exploring the area if you stay a few nights (we did one night to break up the drive to Skye - so it's perfect for that too.) Had everything we needed for our stay. Would recommend Cafe Ariete for breakfast.

Cons: The mattress on the double bed was a bit firm for my wife and I's liking - my son however said his was really comfy and the bedroom curtains could be a little longer to keep light out.

A lovely cosy find in the centre of town.

Pros: Great Location, near centre of town. Lots of Eateries near by. There was 4 of us sharing & there was ample room. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery etc. We were walking the Annandale way & this was good for the 3 days around Moffat. The road was quiet. Beds comfy. There were parking spaces on the street.

Cons: There are steep stairs, so may not suit some. The bathroom is near the steps, so have to take care.

Pros: Loved the property, including the quirkiness of the stairs! Had a lovely stay, just too short. Good communication with the owner and they kindly let us have an earlier check-in. 😊
