Just perfect, really well equipped, ever so welcoming and a great location.

Pros: What a wonderful wee cottage!! Such a lovely welcoming cottage enhanced with a few treats and a real home from home feel, we felt instantly relaxed! The furniture in the lounge was lovely and comfortable and the beds felt like sleeping on clouds! As it got darker the fairy lights around the garden were a lovely suprise and looked like fireflies in the bushes. Location wise it was perfect, we loved the local village and a very handy shop in the neighbouring village of Minishant. There’s also a handy Tesco express on the route into Ayr. The view from the garden of the cottage over the local farm was lovely and hearing sheep in the fields was just heaven! We were delighted to meet Sally, what a super host, thank you for such a lovely stay, we will be back!

A comfortable and quiet retreat with everything that you need from a stay away from home.

Pros: This property is self contained and compact, with 2 bedrooms, a living cum dining room, separate kitchen and separate bathroom. There was off road parking, the internet worked really well, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean and functional. The shower was good and the kitchen had everything we needed. I'm pretty fussy about my needs for a self catering property and this satisfied those without issue. For some it may be too compact but I would say to those of you looking for a property like this in and around Ayr, you WILL be pleasantly surprised if you take a chance on Sally's Wee Lion cottage.

A cosy, well-equipped getaway that’s even better than it looks online.

Pros: A beautifully decorated, homely place with all the facilities you need, perfect for a relaxing holiday in a charming small town. The host is friendly and accommodating. Honestly, the pictures on Booking.com don’t do it justice — they aren’t wide-angled, and the place looks even better in person than the photos suggest.
