Pros: Property was just what we needed, visiting family in the area. Well contained garden for our dogs.

Cons: Would have loved bath sheets instead of small bath towels.

Really great stay in a superb cottage. Highly recommend

Pros: Stayed here for a couple of days with family, it was a lovely experience. The cottage is outstanding, immaculately presented and it felt like it was brand new. Heating and hot water was instant, Tv and WiFi worked, and there was no noise from the road. Enclosed garden was a bonus too.

Cons: Nothing at all.

Pros: Lovely and quiet cottage in the middle of the countryside, very peaceful. Very comfortable beds and exceptionally clean space.

Pros: Everything was as new, Had part loss of electricity in the morning of leaving, the owner brought flasks of boiled water, very thoughtful. Quiet countryside, lovely river about 400 metres away crossed by 18th century bridge

Perfect family friendly & spotless stay

Pros: We had a wedding at The Hidden Barns, so we were after somewhere big enough for 2 families (with small children) to share and that was still close to the wedding venue. This ticked all the boxes. Stunning cottage, beautifully designed and perfect for the little ones to run around in. Absolutely spotless, Lynn was fantastically accommodating and helpful. We throughly enjoyed our stay and it was a shame we had to leave. Would 100% recommend 10/10

Excellent, tranquil and comfortable within a short drive of Gretna Green and Carlisle.

Pros: Much thought has gone into how the property would be used. It caters for able bodied and elderly guests alike. Enclosed garden was good for our small dog. Welcome items were great, even a bottle of wine. Host really helpful.

Cons: Really nothing to improve on. If I was picky, then maybe a couple of larger scatter cushions on the sofa.
