Pros: Welcoming and perfect, a lovely home away from home. Great location, comfortable and overall just perfect for a relaxing stay in Keswick.

Comfy, spacious and plenty of wquiomnet.

Pros: We had a fantastic winter weekend stay in Sefton house for 7 adults. The house was warm, comfortable and had plenty of space. When we arrived the whole place was warm, clean and tidy with all the beds made up and a welcome pack (tea, coffee, milk sachets and biscuits) on the side in the kitchen. We cooked a Christmas Dinner and found the kitchen was very well equipped with utensils, pots, cutlery and crockery; finding we had plenty of space for all of us around the dining room table. As it was Christmas time the decoration touches around the house were lovely. We were lucky and had no problems parking up outside. I would thoroughly recommend Sefton House for a self catering break.

Cons: Having to check out by 10am (but i undersatnd whay).

Pros: Great location. Property was immaculate and a good size

Cons: Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but the mattress on the first floor double bed is not the most comfortable as it collapses somewhat at the sides.

Had a memorable time !!!

Pros: As a family we enjoyed our space and every thing available in the kitchen to make our trip easy and convenient.

A good place to stay near to Keswick Town Centre

Pros: This was a lovely property for 4 adult friends to use for a break in the Lake District . It was very clean and comfortable and an easy walk into Keswick . Convenience store a couple of minutes walk away and Booths which has a very good range of food and drink around 10-15 minutes walk . Adequate towels and comfortable beds . Lots to do and easy to get around without using the car . Bus service is excellent for trips out to Grasmere and Ambleside or getting back from the other end of Derwentwater . We also used the boat service which was very good but more expensive than the bus . Key safe was very useful as it meant we didn't need to worry if we split up after going out as we could always get back in

Cons: On arrival we had to park in another street but by the morning there were a few spaces outside so moved the car and as we didn't use it again after that so this wasn't a problem . The spaces do soon fill up as people must park there for the day so worth getting up early to move the car . It would be nice to have another set of twin beds rather than the bunk beds but on balance we liked having a room each as there were 4 of us . There were 2 bathrooms which was useful .

Great base to see the Lakes

Pros: The property was a perfect cosy base for our Keswick walks and stay. Beds were comfortable and the facilities were great for a group. We particularly liked the big dining table which was great for a sharing tea. Only issue we had was the two double rooms at the front of the house have no blinds and thin curtains so it got light very early which disturbed me as a light sleeper.

Overall a lovely property and we would happily return.

Pros: Great location, nice spacious house, comfy beds and overall a very clean house. Enjoyed our stay and would come back. Great facilities (eg lots of kitchen utensils and cooking equipment)

Cons: Given it was over Christmas, would have expected a Christmas tree to be up. It was a shame that there wasn’t one. Oven shelves quite dirty with burnt on bits. TV setup is a bit strange. Very difficult to find Channels 1-5!

Great stay

Pros: Great location in Keswick. Close to town.Walking distance to Keswick attractions . We were two families - 4 adults and 4 kids. The house was big enough for all of us. The rooms are great size . Clean and tidy. Kitchen was equipped with all necessary appliances. Highly recommend if you are visiting Lake District and would like to stay centrally.

Cons: Street parking (as advertised so not a complaint). Hard to find parking spaces near to the house.

We all enjoyed our stay despite the weather,used our bus passes every day

Pros: Location good, when we got used to the way into the town.disappointed with the parking,when we arrived there was no place to park y the house.

Cons: No reserved parking
