Oak Lodge

Pros: Beautiful, clean, and incredibly spacious house in a great location. Our party was made up of 3 families with a total of 6 adults and 5 children (aged 7-14) and everyone just settled in effortlessly like we'd lived there all our lives. We've already booked it again for next year 😁 You can walk into town in just a couple of minutes, and there's also this great little cinema we visited just round the corner which if I remember correctly dates back to the 1920's.

Cons: Hard to find anything negative, but I suppose the parking was a bit hit or miss as it's on a neighbouring street and first come first served. We always found a space but sometimes it ended up being bit of walk back to the house.

Wonderful cosy house that was ideal for a large group.

Pros: The house was beautiful with loads of space to accommodate 12 people and plenty of shower rooms. The large lounge and dining room allowed the whole group to assemble and socialise. Lots of crockery and superb cooking facilities. Superb location with short walk to the town.

Cons: Beds had comfy mattresses but pillows were squishy and lumpy.

Pros: This property is STUNNING!! It’s so central to everything. It’s clean & homely.

Cons: A few more dishwasher tablets would have been ideal & a space to leave recycling.

Keswick is stunning and this house made our stay a fantastic experience.

Pros: Large, well equipped house and a great location minutes from Town

Cons: No toilet roll holders and that is it !

Perfect for our needs - we hope to be able to return.

Pros: The house is very well equipped and homely. The owners responded quickly to any queries. The weather was lovely, so we made good use of the enclosed garden, which was safe for pets and small children. It was perfect for a large family. Thank you

Cons: A garden parasol would have been useful, as the weather was very sunny and the shade was limited. (Just a thought).

Pros: Great location, loads of space, very clean. Good communication.

Cons: Towels and some cling film would have been useful and maybe a couple extra toilet rolls.

Lovely stay with family

Pros: The property is in an excellent location , very close to Keswick town centre. The house is very spacious and kitchen and dining facilities excellent for large groups. Whilst there is no real back garden , the front garden is enclosed and private with a nice seating area , again accommodating a big group

Cons: There is no private parking , however , we had four cars in our group and could park easily in the surrounding streets even on a bank holiday weekend free of charge

Pros: A great house. Really well equipped and great location. We were a group of 8 adults, 3 kids and a dog and it was perfect for us. I had been worried about parking - but we found 4 car spaces around the corner easily

We had a lovely stay with family and pets to celebrate a big birthday. The house was as perfect 🤩

Pros: The house was beautiful and welcoming…..dressed for Christmas. Lots of space for our large family and pets. Very close to town centre with all amenities but quiet and cosy inside.

Cons: Did not receive the letter with a code for keys but called the owner and sorted very quickly. Downside that the letter contained the information of not having towels provided! Hence no one brought them 😞
