Perfect place for exploring the lakes

Pros: The cottage is comfy, cosy and well-equipped. We particularly enjoyed the electric fireplace heater! The shower is excellent, especially the continuous hot water supply. The location is convenient for exploring Keswick as well as accessing public transport to visit other parts of the lake district.

Great location

Pros: House was tidy and in a great location which was quiet at night (could hear the river, but was quite soothing to listen to)

Cons: House smelled of dogs when we arrived

Great weekend retreat

Pros: It was great, everything easy to use, able to put heat on, after getting cold on the hills. The owners have thought about a place to put shoes/ boots after running. Would definitely book again.

Had a lovely 4 days very quite location

Pros: House was close to all amenities. Clean well presented

Cons: Electric Shower had poor power. Hard to adjust the temp. Could do with a new one.

Pros: Everything! Location is fantastic literally 5 minutes into town centre Love all the little notes and pictures around the house giving information. It was perfect for our two dogs with the baby gates, wood floors and secure back garden ( which i made sure it was as my dog loves to escape and not come back!) My two year old son loved the kids bedroom and the beds in the house are so so comfy. I had a lovely birthday weekend staying here. Parking is available too which is an added bonus if want to leave the car at home to experience all Keswick has to offer. I would definitely stay again! N.b the sofa are different to the ones in the photos, there are two black leathers ones now which are a good size and we found comfy.

Cons: Nothing, it was lovely, clean and was a home from home
