Pros: The seclusion but near a village, lovely lodge and very private

Relaxing, comfortable and well placed lodge.

Pros: The view was amazing. Parking was easy. There were lots of things nearby to do and see. The property was clean and modern and obviously well looked after. The shower and bath were good and the beds comfy. A smart TV was a good touch, as were the wine and cookies!

Pros: Amazing views, exceptionally clean and well equipped.

Pros: Lovely lodge, everything that you needed was there. Very small gripe, our towels were small and hard, the other room was okay.

Pros: The Lodge was immaculate, iwith minus temperatures outside we arrived to a lovely warm accommodation and the heating stayed on the whole time.everything we needed was here. Lovely scenery,

A view to die for

Pros: Stunningly located with an ever changing vista that needs to be seen to be believed. Super clean inside and had everything to hand. We already love the area and have visited Gatehouse many times so to find something where we literally walk or bike from a convenient location is a gem! Thanks so much to Lizzie , Evan and your team for being so helpful! The bottle of wine in NYE went down a treat plus the loan of the extension lead when our camper van battery failed , was an added bonus. We will be back ♥️

Cons: Would have preferred a small wardrobe and bigger freezer although ok for 3 nights

Relaxing, comfortable stay.

Pros: The lodge was beautiful and clean, and the views were stunning. Very peaceful and relaxing. Comfortable beds and a pretty well stocked kitchen. Gatehouse of Fleet is not far away, and the lodge is a great base for visiting towns nearby.

Cons: Not really a complaint as such, but it would be useful to have a plug socket near a mirror, bins in the bathrooms, and instructions for cooker hob and central heating. Also, egg cups would've been useful.

Exactly what we were after-very comfortable lodge in a quiet location but local facilities easily accessible 👍

Pros: Excellent lodge-modern, clean with outstanding views. Although it rained some evenings it was great to get the opportunity to sit outside on the decking with a drink and enjoy the view-incredibly peaceful.

Cons: For me nothing I didn’t like. Only constructive feedback we would give is to provide some info on how the radiators worked. Also, although not that important to us, some info on local restaurants, beaches, things to do etc would be helpful for some guests.

Pros: Beautiful location and was really peaceful, we were attending a wedding at GGs yard and it was only a 10 minute drive. The town itself is only a few minutes drive and walkable in nice weather, lovely restaurants to eat at. The lodge itself had a lovely layout and was very nicely decorated.

Cons: We found out about Sea Glass Lodge from a list of recommended accommodation provided by GGs yard. The fact that it is recommended and linked with a wedding venue I was surprised that there were no mirrors at all near plug sockets. Only two mirrors in the whole lodge and they were both in the toilets above the sinks. This made getting ready for a wedding very difficult, especially doing hair. I wouldn’t have even thought to consider packing a mirror to bring with me. Also would have been nice to have extra bin bags available to facilitate the request to recycle, the only bin bag was the one in the bin so we felt like we had rubbish lying around. There’s also a wasp nest in the outbuilding bit at the back of the lodge which caused slight havoc when we had a bbq haha!
