Pros: The location is fabulous for easy access to the Western lakes, with fabulous hikes right from the doorstep. Close to St Bees for the beach and Whitehaven harbour. Shops for groceries and petrol are close by. The house has four very spacious double beds/rooms and a well equipped kitchen and separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. A beautiful bathroom with a bath and shower. My grandchildren loved all the indoor space. There isn't any outdoor space, but after days out, it wasn't needed. Parking is easy on the road outside. The management team was easy to contact if you had a problem. My mattress had a problem with some springs and was promptly changed the next day. We would definitely visit again.

Cons: Another sofa in the living room would be welcome and make the comfort level a 10.

Pros: The rooms was very big and beds very comfy .had everything you needed in kitchen. The TV was a smart one came in handy.. Bathroom was lovely don't have a bath at home so my child loved having a bath bomb 😄

Cons: The stairs wasn't suitable for us as we had a family member who struggled with stairs (disabled)and they was very steep. Also would suggest more seats in front room but had a lovely time

It was a very comfy and welcoming space for some much needed rest.

Pros: The property was lovely and met all our needs. The beds were really comfortable and the house was very spacious too.

Cons: The property didn’t really have any downsides. Just a long way to the bathroom if you’re on the top floor.

Brilliant stay

Pros: It was very clean, beautiful, had all the amenities, close to country pub/ restaurants. Also, Lauren is an amazing host and very thoughtful to have organised the house so well. All the 4 of us had a great stay.

Pros: The cottage was exceptionally clean when we arrived, and there was more space than we were expecting. Great location for exploring the lakes.

Cons: The table on seats 4 but there were 5 of us, not enough towels and the kitchen is very sparsely equipped.
