Wastwater lake is a 7 km walk from Bridge End, while Windermere lake is 24 km away. Coninston Water is 36 km from the property. A romantic getaway

Pros: The location was perfect! Pristine and picturesque! Our cottage was spotless, super cosy and was well equipped with everything we needed. Leaving milk and biscuits was a welcoming touch too. We fell in love with Boot and would love to return! Loved the victorian bath as well.

Pros: We stayed in Wryrose cottage with our labrador. We had enough room for 2 adults and a dog. It was clean and comfy, full working kitchen and fast Wi-Fi. Lovely location, brilliant views and walks.

Little piece of heaven on earth

Pros: Superb location, wonderful cottage, clean and very comfortable

Amazimg views

Pros: The cottage was very comfortable and with stunning views within walking distance. The cottage had shared garden but quiet and peaceful. We had dog with us so very dog welcoming comunity in Boot.

Cons: We were taken aback with such a steepy approach to get to the Boot. If you dont have 4x4 then its a bit stressful as we are not used to such a roads. But nothing to do with cottages and our stay in End of Farm cottsges.

Great loacation and super comfortable!

Pros: Beautiful place- small but perfect and cosy for 1/2 people. Great location, quiet but not isolated close to two pubs. Lovely shared back garden.

Cons: Quite dark downstairs without back door open.

A bit pricey but great location and comfortable

Pros: Location, right at the start of trail towards Scaffel & Scaffel Pike, in a less touristic part of Lake District. Also the cottage was clean, had comfortable bed and broadband.

Cons: On the pricey side. Pictures somewhat misleading as they show the biggest of the cottage without clarifying that there are smaller one. Outdated instructions for recycling (no longer a recycling bin in Eskdale green car park).
