Beautiful lakeland house in the Langdales. Excellent for a short stay or longer holiday.

Pros: The location is excellent. The house has all the facilities necessary for a short break or longer stay. Comfy beds and having two bathrooms is a bonus with a larger group or family. A good selection of games and DVDs are available if needed and there is a private outdoor seated area and BBQ.

Cons: Unfortunately the heating wasn't working when we stayed but there were plenty of logs and the woodburner soon heated the room.

Beautiful house with a spectacular views

Pros: Very cosy house and the living room with the log burner is the best place in it. It is a perfect location with spectacular views of mountains. And birdfeeders brought nature even closer.

Perfect family house in The Lakes

Pros: Location was brilliant, the house everything we needed, very comfortable, clean with a very well stocked kitchen. Only 5 minutes walk from local shop and lovely pub

Cons: Communications before arrival via Booking.com non existent, despite me asking two questions, one being could we add an extra day to our booking

The perfect place to escape at the Lakes.

Pros: The property, exceeded our expectations and would definitely book again. The accommodation had everything we needed - great social dining and seating areas, plus very comfy beds. Books and recommendations about the local area which were helpful to us. We were there to explore the Langdale area and a hike up Scafell (we started from Seathwaite so approx 50mins drive). For us, the location was brilliant, small shop and pub(s) within easy walking distance, with some great hikes and swims within a few minutes drive from the property.

A home away from home!

Pros: This is our second stay at Plumblands. Such a great and homely cottage, and a perfect base for us for a week in The Lakes. It feels far bigger than it actually is.
