Pros: Exceptional accommodation, honestly could not fault anything. Kay was so helpful and made us feel very welcome. Lovely rural location with beautiful views. Was a treat to get to meet some of the sheep on the farm and cuddling a 10 day old lamb was a highlight. Would 100% recommend and will most definitely be looking at staying with you again. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you so much for making our first trip to Scotland magical.

Cons: Couldn't fault a thing.

Pros: Lodge was exceptionally clean and tidy. Beautiful views and surrounding farm very well kept and tidy

Cons: Quite a steep walk down a field to the coastal path

A very pleasant short stay in a beautiful location.

Pros: The location was fairly remote without being isolated. The property was easily accessed, very clean and well presented. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. TV and cell service were excellent.

Cons: The double mattress was not the most comfortable. The same applies to the stools at the table (I've never been a fan of perching on stools).

A perfect spot for a short break when you want to get away from it all!

Pros: I was looking for a nice quiet location as a base for some landscape and astro photography and I couldn’t have asked for much better. The accommodation is described as basic by the owners, but it’s much, much better than that! Very comfortable and clean and very well kitted out for those planning a longer stay (I was only there for a couple of nights)

Cons: It’s honestly hard to find fault. I think an extra socket by the bed (or even a wall socket with USB ports) so you could charge your phone/watch without unplugging the lamp would be beneficial, but that’s not really an issue. My only niggle during my stay was that the guests in the next lodge kept parking their car as close to my lodge as possible (presumably to keep their car in the shade), which meant it was directly under the bedroom window. Again, not a fault with the property as there’s plenty space for parking, but a little bit of consideration from other guests would have been nice.

It was great, we were at SkiffieWorlds in Stranraer every day and it was only a ten minute drive in.

Pros: Great location, peaceful except for the sheep who were lovely!

Cons: Nothing, all good.
