It was simply a great holiday for my wife and children and I look forward to returning.

Pros: The location is beautiful, but it is also close to family in the area.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike.

Lovely clean place with everything you need and an excellent base.

Pros: It had everything you needed and was in a lovely quiet location. The little village had a pub within walking distance and the place itself was an excellent base for the lakes. What I liked as extra touches, it had washing up liquid, t-towels, dish cloths and towels. A lot of places you have to bring your own. Will definitely return.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like.

Pros: Good, clean caravan, with everything provided (and more so!) on a nice, well maintained, clean site. It was very quiet and a bit further out so a car is a must. It was excellent for a family just wanting full days out visiting the Lake District and restful evenings.

A great holiday for all the family.

Pros: The location was great for us, as I have family nearby. We were able to visit family and tour around Cumbria easily. The site was small but well laid out and extremely well maintained. The caravan was very clean and very comfortable even with my wife and three kids. It was a great place to come home to after a long day of visiting tourist sites or walking in the lakes. The kids really enjoyed movie nights in the caravan.

Great stay in a family and dog friendly caravan that is accessible for lots of great walks.

Pros: Beautiful quiet campsite that was immaculately kept. Fantastic village pub right opposite with some of the friendliest people I’ve come across on our travels, great selection of drinks and food was superb. Caravan was great and spotlessly clean.

Cons: For us just a couple of things. The beds very uncomfortable, Our daughters bed she could feel every spring and had to sleep on top of a quilt over the mattress. And only other thing for us was no Wi-Fi. But those aside we had a great break away.
