Cosy and homely flat - a perfect exploring base or stopover stay for a couple

Pros: Our host was really friendly and helpful, and met us at her door (one door over from the property) with the keys before showing us around the flat. The flat has been really thoughtfully designed as an annexe separated from the main house and is tastefully decorated, feeling homely without feeling cluttered and lots of good colour schemes. It had absolutely everything we needed for a one-night stopover, and the kitchen while tiny is mighty - everything has been thought of. The little touches made it, with milk and eggs in the fridge (we were out too early the next day to use them), chocolates, and tea/coffee/porridge pots. We would happily stay here again and recommend this wee gem to friends. It's priced really well too and is a two-minute drive to the train station.

Cons: I have no criticisms at all, this was a fab place to stay! The only thing I could think to further add to the positives would be a USB-capable plug socket in the bedroom to add to the one in the living room (I'm forever forgetting my USB plug and just bringing the cable).

Fabulous wee retreat home

Pros: Absolutely fantastic wee place! Very clean, loved the eggs left for the morning! The wee touches made a lovely stay even better. Both my family and my in laws stayed here over the span of two weeks and both families said how fabulous the host Tina was. Highly highly recommend and we can’t wait to book the family in again! They’ve all said they won’t stay in Lockerbie if they can’t book in here!!

Home from home, and the most comfortable bed!

Pros: Beautiful cosy apartment with everything you could possibly need to make the stay comfortable, Tina and Scott went out of their way to make me welcome. The conversion of this property from a former 6 bedroom B&B to a family home with a self-contained apartment has been very cleverly planned and executed. The shared garden at the back is beautiful.

Cons: Nothing. This is a first floor apartment accessed up a steep staircase which I know that some would find challenging.

Nothing short of brilliant

Pros: Place was spotless. The Hostess took time to show us round and made sure we knew where everything was which was brilliant. We got info about the town which was very helpful as well. The apartment has everything you could need for a short stay, was perfect.
