Was great! Created lots of lasting memories with our family.

Pros: Location was great, lots of walking and a few mins drive to town. Was nice and modern, cosy and comfy. Great for a family. Would stay here again!

Cons: Nothing within the apartment! The only small negative was the hallways, stairs and entrance had a damp smell to them.

Lovely cozy apartment ideal for 2 couples or a family.

Pros: Lovely apartment everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of room for 2 couples or a family. Great location - only a 15 min walk into Keswick town centre and well placed for travel all around the Lake District. Local pub only a 3 min walk away.

Cons: No toilet roll on arrival. Didn't bother us as we did a shop en-route but could catch someone out!

Pros: Well stocked apartment. Ideally location for walking. Comfortable throughout.

Cons: Parking can be a pain. The roads were full of cars. Can get some noise from the apartment above.

Pros: Well appointed, lovely decor, fantastic location, great communication from owner.

A lovely stay

Pros: Very quiet village, excellent location for touring round the lakes. Good parking. Property was lovely. Well equipped and very comfortable.

Cons: Only negatives were the noise from upstairs (you hear every step) and there was no tea towel. But having read previous reviews I took ear plugs so managed to block out most of the noise.

Beautiful, scenic and comfortable

Pros: The village is quiet and near to other main hubs of activity (Keswick, the different Lakes, etc). The surrounding area is absolutely stunning - every drive, every walk, every turn lead us through a landscape of humbling mountains, fresh rolling fields, and stunning tranquil lakes. Even going to the supermarket was scenic! The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with modern conveniences and helpful instructions for how to use the appliances. The host replied to contact promptly, politely and helpfully. Including fans in the bedrooms was a great choice and they were gratefully used since we had such glorious hot weather.

Cons: Unfortunately, through no fault of the hosts I understand, the WiFi dropped out on us on our very first morning and didn't work for the following 3 days. I did contact the host and she explained that she was working on the issue, but it seemed to be bigger than they anticipated. I believe she did her best to fix the issue, but it was a shame since I had some work to do on my laptop and wasn't able to, and it limited our ability to crash out with a movie in the evenings. The phone data coverage also was not strong (3) for me so this didn't offer an alternative option. Also, the sound proofing between ourselves (2nd floor) and the floor above meant we didn't hear them talking but we could very clearly hear people walking about. I would have appreciated an option for a summer duvet, but that was specific to the glorious heatwave we ended up having while we stayed up there!
