Really good base!

Pros: Beautiful period building, decorated to suit. Very clean. The host was incredibly friendly and attentive, even recommending a walk. There was a pint of milk, tea, coffee and sugar provided for our immediate needs, together with some chocolates.

Highly Recommend

Pros: Everything. Vanessa was very helpful straight from the time of booking. She provided great information on places to visit and where to eat out. The accommodation is of very high standards with everything you could possibly need. The homely touches made it a lovely place to spend time. The fantastic home made lemon drizzle cake and fresh milk for tea was really appreciated after our journey.

Comfort and luxury near Cockermouth

Pros: The apartment was immaculate, comfortable and well equipped with everything one could need. I was very impressed with the high-quality fittings, character and overall standard of the apartment. Checking in was easy and the owner was very helpful. A welcome bonus were the milk and pastries left for us on arrival. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Pros: The apartment was spotless when we arrived, is well equipped and well maintained. There were some brownies to welcome us, and plenty of tea and coffee. The views and the surrounding countryside are spectacular, and we had a very relaxing stay.

Relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

Pros: The property was of a very high standard, from fixtures and fittings, to décor, to the very well equipped kitchen. We even had cookies and milk in the fridge.

Fabulous stay in a great location to access most of the lakes

Pros: Very comfortable, clean and accessible to all areas of the lakes. The apartment was loaded with everything you could think you might need and more. Lovely touch of a lemon drizzle cake and milk in the fridge for arrival.
