Pros: The certainty of knowing from our previous experience that we would be welcomed and comfortable.

Pros: Newly renovated, clean and stylish accommodation with superb views over the loch from the decking and the kitchen sink! Lovely walks from the door onto the park. Good fish and chip shop within a short walk and easy access to the shops and surrounding countryside and coast.Fully equipped kitchen; comfortable beds. A gem!

Cons: Nowt.

Very comfortable and great value, even though there was only me.

Pros: I was waiting for my new home to be completed in Castle Douglas. So for me I had decided to continue living in this area, because it is a great location. So during my 10 weeks waiting I had been in several Holiday Homes and I have to say this is the best one. Everything just looks good and feels go on this property.

Cons: Nothing, I just could not galt it in anyway

A lovely, comfortable and peaceful stay in a very pleasant location.

Pros: Kitchen was really well stocked with equipment, with some goodies left for us to eat (which was a nice touch). Beds were lovely and comfortable, with fresh towels. Plenty of toilet roll provided too. Nice location, with a great view across the loch. Although main road was just outside, it was very quiet inside with no intrusive noise. Just a lovely, comfortable stay in a nice place.

Cons: Nothing significant at all. In fact, nothing really at all.

Pros: Great location, loved the view to the lake. Very clean, nice decor, and really well equipped kitchen! Would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Excellent place.

Pros: Lovely place that was a proper home from home. Just about everything you need is there, The place has been well thought out to make the stay pleasant and easy.

Cons: Parking could be an issue if coming in late but always got a park within 2/3 minutes walk so not a major problem. Other than that, all was good.

Pros: Super clean, extremely comfortable, very well equipped. Everything you could possibly need as well as lovely welcome pack. Also very good location for both Castle Douglas and the wider amenities - Threave Gardens so close, also Kirkcudbright (was there for the Arts and Crafts Trail - excellent) also Culzean Castle and Dumfries House in good striking distance.

Cons: Nothing could be done about the rather noisy road - I've stayed here before in October and it was quieter then for some reason. But it did lessen the enjoyment of sitting outside, and meant that if I left the patio doors open it could be noisy.

Pros: Everything! Spotlessly clean. Everything we needed and more !
