The Retreat Studio

Pros: Such a cosy studio and located in a quiet peaceful area. You will need a car to drive to it and go out and explore the nearby areas. Definitely would come again.

Calm, relaxing and comfortable stay

Pros: It was calm and relaxing and had all the facilities we needed.

Cons: I liked all of it.

Pros: I stayed here whilst working for the weekend. It was very peaceful and I thoroughly enjoyed the Retreat.

Pros: Lovely decor comfy bed ,little touches like bread ,fresh milk and juice .. everything covered in information leaflets. Little intro sheet to introduce the family was cute too. I was given total privacy,which is what I was looking for to sit and sketch relaxing few days had everything I needed

Cons: Toilet was small ,I have very long les . . Apart from that it was great .

Pros: Location for working in town was perfect 7 minutes away

Pros: Couldn't fault the property or the host, the property was so peaceful and private I could of honestly stayed forever. Everything thought of in the lay out and facilities not to mention a lovely welcoming food pack which I was very grateful for as it was an emergency visit to the area and I was not prepared.

Cons: I honestly cannot fault anything regarding this property or the host, if I could off stayed longer I would have, unfortunately it was already booked again so had to go to a hotel for a few days.

Pros: Really beautifully decorated and well equipped. Excellent smart TV and good WiFi. Breakfast provided.

Very lovely place, clean and comfy

Pros: It’s was clean and comfy! Had everything I needed!

Cons: If you’re scared of spiders…so many spiders due to the gaps and type of building. Even with the heater it did get pretty cold but nothing we couldn’t fix. Also not brilliant for young children, my daughter kept trying to grab things they are only floor and table. Also the bbq Utensils are sharp and I didn’t see them when I first came in but luckily my sister did after my baby tried to grab them. But that’s a baby thing really

A true peaceful retreat in a location close to Carlisle and Dalston, just what we wanted so met our expectations.

Pros: Comfortable bed, peaceful location, provision of breakfast items and the lovely welcome from the family’s dogs, Boo and Daisy 😊

Cons: Would prefer chairs rather than stools at the table but realise they are saving space and would be fine for younger people.
